The Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper EVO Mountain Bike is far more than just a trail bike. With a refreshed design, the new EVO takes all Specialized learned from its rowdy predecessor and packages it into a new performance-tuned platform that pushes the boundaries of what is possible on a mid-travel bike. With adjustable geometry and a parts specification dripping with top-specification goodies, the S-Works EVO is ready to do battle with even the most intimidating of descents. Oozing with high-tech features, the frameset features integrated chainstay protection, improved SWAT™ storage, and the new Specialized 22-fluid ounce SWAT™ bladder reservoir.

With six adjustable geometry settings, the EVO is perfect for a range of trail situations. With a head angle adjustable from 63 to 65.5 degrees thanks to the use of eccentric headset spacers and chainstay-mounted flip-chips, performance is flawless on even the jankiest terrain. The flip-chips offer 10mm of bottom bracket adjustment, allowing you lower your centre of gravity for bike park-esque corners, or raise it for reduced pedal strikes on rocky terrain.

The 29-inch specific frame packs 150mm of progressive suspension travel, featuring revised suspension kinematics to add an agile yet capable feel. Taking notes from the critically acclaimed Enduro platform, a revised rearward axle path improves suspension performance on square-edged hits, providing an unstoppable and confidence-inspiring ride in rock gardens. Pedalling characteristics have also been improved which, when coupled with the frames new lighter weight and steep seat tube angle, make for a spritely climbing experience.

The S-Works EVO features a specification worthy of its super-bike status. Kashima coated FOX Factory suspension adorns both the front and rear, with the 160mm FLOAT 36 fork sporting the uber-tuneable GRIP2 damper for unbeatable performance. Royal Traverse SL Carbon bars provide a compliant, vibration-free ride, and are clamped by Deity’s boutique Copperhead stem. SRAM Code RSC brakes provide downhill-spec braking performance, with their four-piston calipers giving ample stopping power for even Alps-level gradients. State of the art XX1 Eagle AXS wireless shifting provides a cable-free experience, ushering in all-new levels of drivetrain performance. Royal Traverse SL carbon wheels reduce rotational weight, for bombproof strength and responsive acceleration.
