The frame features a lot of the same technology that led to the standard ransom winning Design and Technology Awards while maintaining the reasonable price of an aluminum frame. The Bosch CX Gen4 eDrive System is subtly tucked away but can propel your Ransom to up to 20 mph. This is perfect for powering up hills or rolling over difficult terrain before taking on the impending descent. A TwinLoc suspension with three modes to accommodate any level of compliance needed. The Scott Ransom features 180mm of both rear and fork travel that can be locked out in progression. This is especially useful on technical climbs. The shock progression adjustment of the shock ensures the support and balance of weight distribution. Flip chip technology adjusts the bottom bracket to accommodate 27.5 or 29” wheels, depending on personal preference. This version of the Scott Ransom is equipped with a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed groupset for fast and reliable mechanical shifting at a lower price.
